So my heart is still racing & I’m still physically exhausted from a nightmare I had in two different settings last night. Exhausted from (in the dream) fighting a spiritual war through natural means. Fought it in the natural because of the way my enemies came packaged. Sweet, adorable, seemingly kind, as though approaching with good intentions. FAMILIAR to me and on familiar territory.
I fought defensively as not to hurt them (physically blocking etc) to keep them from hurting me WITHOUT destroying them. But I didn’t realize they were out to destroy me. It wasn’t until I woke up that it clicked it was a SPIRITUAL battle and should’ve been fought proactively the entire time.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” – Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)
A lot of us are handling nouns that are destroying us with kid gloves because they are FAMILIAR. Friends, family, business partnerships, relationships, places and moments that are continuing to hurt us and stop us from progressing to the next level.
People in our lives that we REALLY thought were sent by God but they are really on assignment from the enemy to steal, kill and destroy your DESTINY. Satanically energized to CONFUSE you of your identity and worth.
We continue to get sucka punched by the same person, place or thing BECAUSE our guard is down. And our guard is down ONLY because of the familiarity of the connection. WAKE UP. Like the cute little boys in The Passion Of Christ who eventually revealed themselves as demons assigned to torment Judas. He didn’t see the attack coming because of the spiritual condition he was in…💫e
